Vessels from Australia and other countries have joined the search operation, cooperating with Chinese authorities to locate the missing individuals. President Xi’s Call for Emergency Response Mechanism Activation
President Xi Jinping has urged relevant departments to activate the emergency response mechanism immediately. He has directed the Chinese Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the Chinese Ministry of Transport, and Shandong Province to verify the situation, deploy additional rescue forces, and coordinate search and rescue work. The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and relevant embassies abroad have been instructed to strengthen communication with local parties involved in the search operation.

President Xi Jinping emphasized the need for “all-out efforts” in the rescue operation and ordered measures to reduce casualties and enhance safety management of fishing vessels at sea.
