According to Blinken, Russia’s ambitious invasion plans have already failed, and Ukraine has dealt a blow to Putin’s objective of erasing Ukraine from the map and subsuming it into Russia. Despite facing challenges, the counteroffensive has made progress in retaking control of the occupied territories.

Ukraine’s Hopes for US-Made F-16 Fighter Jets
Ukraine has long been seeking US-made F-16 fighter jets, and Blinken believes that the country will eventually receive them. However, the focus is on ensuring proper training and maintenance of these aircraft to utilize them effectively. A coalition of 11 nations is set to initiate pilot training in Denmark in August, with a training center to be established in Romania.

Since the beginning of Russia’s invasion in February 2022, the United States has provided Ukraine with over $41 billion in military aid, demonstrating its support in the ongoing conflict.
