In a shocking incident in Nakur sub-division of Saharanpur district, a 20-year-old youth took the life of his teenage sister, Muskan Prajapati (18), reportedly upset over her phone conversation. The assailant used a country-made pistol in the crime, and the victim was rushed to the district hospital, where doctors declared her brought dead.
Delayed Police Action
Regrettably, the police disclosed that no First Information Report (FIR) has been filed yet. The victim’s father, Jagmohan (46), a laborer residing in Dehradun, had not reached the village at the time of the incident, causing a delay in official reporting.
Lack of Information Sharing
Saharanpur Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Vipin Tada mentioned that the victim’s mother did not inform the local police station about the tragic incident, adding another layer of complexity to the case.
