So, Shahid Kapoor is finally back on the big screen this Friday after his last blockbuster Kabir Singh in 2019. The long-awaited sports drama film has finally been released after being postponed several times.
In terms of buzz, there has been a lacklustre response to the film in advance bookings, but the film has received mixed reviews from critics and the media in special screenings.
EARLY REVIEWS
Amar Ujala gave the film 4 out of 5 stars, Prabhat Khabar 3.5/5 stars, TOI 3.5/5 stars, Pinkvilla 3.5/5 stars, Koimoi 3.5/5 stars, and Lehren gave it 3 out of 5 stars, praising Shahid’s performance as Arjun Talwar and Gautam Tinnanuri’s direction. Because the film is a remake of a popular Tollywood film, we anticipate a good storyline.
While Taran Adarsh gave the film 2.5 stars out of 5, Sumit Kadel gave it 3.5 stars, and Rohit Jaiswal gave it 4 stars, they all praised the performance and narration.
