Adipurush’s producers have introduced a special offer, allowing viewers to watch the film for just Rs 150 on Thursday and Friday. This decision comes in response to a decline in box office earnings on Monday and Tuesday. T-Series, the production company, shared a poster on Instagram, inviting families to experience the grandeur of the film in 3D with edited and changed dialogues.
Revenue and Box Office Performance
T-Series announced that ‘Adipurush’ has achieved a significant milestone of earning Rs 395 crores in gross revenue within a span of five days. The film earned Rs 35 crore on Monday and Rs 20 crore on Tuesday. Despite its initial success, ‘Adipurush’ has faced criticism for its dialogue, visual effects (VFX), and character portrayals.
Modifications to Controversial Dialogues
In response to public backlash, the film’s production team has decided to modify certain dialogues that have offended viewers. The controversial dialogue by the character Bajrang, based on Hanuman, has been changed in the fresh prints. The dialogue, “Kapda tere baap ka, tel tere baap ka, aag bhi tere baap ki, aur jalegi bhi tere baap ki,” has been altered to address concerns raised by the audience.
