Ananya Panday‘s late grandmother Snehlata Panday recently took a heart-touching note to her Instagram handle. With her grandmother, she shared two throwback photos.

Alanna said, “Yesterday, I lost one of my favourite people throughout the world. But you were like another mother to us, the true backbone of the family. We called you daddy.

You were the strongest and bravest women that I had ever known – my grandmother came from a defective heart and went out entirely bleak, the doctors told her mother she would not survive in a few months.

I wish you could read this now so I can tell you just how much I love you—this breaks my heart I wasn’t there when it happened or holding onto your hand. Rest in tranquilly ‚future.’
