Uber and Amazon have announced the extension of their strategic partnership, offering additional benefits to Amazon Prime members in India. By linking their Amazon Pay wallet to Uber, Prime members can now enjoy discounted rides and cashback. This collaboration aims to provide a seamless and cashless travel experience for Prime members.
Benefits for Amazon Prime Members
Prime members can avail themselves of the following benefits:
- 5% Cashback on All Rides: When Prime members use Amazon Pay as a payment method, they will receive a 5% cashback on all Uber rides.
- 1% Amazon Pay Cashback: Additionally, Prime members will receive a 1% cashback in the form of Amazon Pay balance.
These benefits have been effective since May 2023 and are exclusively available to Amazon Prime members.
Previous Collaborations and Shared Commitment
This partnership builds upon previous collaborations between Uber and Amazon. In 2022, they provided access to UberPremier at the price of UberGo, along with three upgrades per month for Prime members. Additionally, Prime members received a 20% discount or up to Rs 60 on up to three trips per month, including Uber Auto, Moto, Rentals, and Intercity.
