Jammu and Kashmir police shot down a drone in Kanachak on Friday and recovered explosive material from it, according to reports. Around six kilometres from the border, the Hexacopter was shot down.
From the drone, police said, around 5 kilogrammes of explosives had been recovered, they added.
Prior to this, on July 16, an anti-drone system deployed by the National Security Guard (NSG) in Jammu detected a drone that had been spotted operating around the Jammu Air Base.
