AP SSC 10th Results 2023 Declared: 38 Schools Record Zero Pass Percentage
The Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh, has announced the AP Secondary School Certificate (AP SSC 2023) results on May 6, 2023, on its official website, results.bse.ap.gov.in. The Andhra Pradesh SSC (Class 10) board exams recorded an overall pass percentage of 72.26 percent. The girls have outperformed boys, with a pass percentage of 75.38 percent, while boys had a pass percentage of 69.27 percent.
Zero Pass Percentage Recorded in 38 Schools
This year, 38 schools recorded a zero pass percentage in the AP SSC exams, which is an improvement from last year, when 71 schools reported a zero pass rate. The Education Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Botcha Satyanarayana, announced that there will be no revaluation of answer sheets for the AP SSC 10th exams, but a recounting process will be conducted on May 13, 2023.
Recounting Process to Ensure Transparency
Around 30,000 people were involved in evaluating the AP 10th answer sheets, and the convenience of these evaluators is being prioritized in the recounting process. The government is also analyzing the performance of different types of schools, including government, municipal, rural, and urban, to identify areas of weakness and implement measures for improvement. The goal for next year is to achieve a 100 percent pass rate in the AP 10th exams.
Supplementary Exam Dates Announced
The Andhra Pradesh Board of Secondary Education has announced the supplementary exam dates for students who failed in one or two subjects in the AP SSC result 2023. The board will conduct the AP 10th supplementary exams from June 2 to 10. The timetable for these exams will be released in two days. Students who wish to appear for the exam need to apply by May 17. If they miss the deadline, they can still apply between May 17 and 22, but they will need to pay a late fee of Rs 50
