- Enter your 11-digit UDISE School Code as both user ID and password

While announcing the results, CM Himanta Biswa Sarma noted a significant increase in the number of schools achieving A and A+ grades, reflecting improved learning outcomes and overall educational quality across Assam.
“Gunotsav has created massive awareness among students, parents, teachers, and the community,” the CM said.
What Is Gunotsav?

Gunotsav is a state-wide quality improvement initiative launched in 2017. It evaluates government and aided schools on key educational indicators across classes 1 to 9. The goal is to identify learning gaps and improve both scholastic and co-scholastic outcomes.
Evaluation Areas and Weightage:
- Scholastic (Learning Outcomes) – 90%
- Co-Scholastic & Other Areas – 5%
- Community Participation & Contribution – 5%
- Infrastructure – Not considered for grading
Based on performance, schools receive one of five grades: A+, A, B, C, or D.
Coverage and Participation

Gunotsav 2025 covers:
- Government/provincialised schools
- Tea garden management schools
- Tea garden model schools
- Adarsha Vidyalayas
- Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBVs)
- Residential schools
Impact of Gunotsav Since 2017

- 2017: 48,468 schools participated; only 12.35% achieved A+
- 2025: Marked improvement in top-tier grades and parental involvement
