A Specific CBI Court In UP’S Lucknow, Mohammad Khan, a previous minister, appealed to Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam (Water Department) during the previous government of the Samajwadi Party (SP), while taking account of the allegations of offences referred to in the charging sheet.
Since Azam Khan is otherwise in Sitapur prison, CBI judge Manoj Pandey directed the superintendent on Monday to ensure that his appearance was ensured by video conferences (July 19).
In the proceedings, the court also summoned the other defendants, among them Girish Chandra Srivastava, Neeraj Malik, Vishwajeet Singh, Ajai Yadav, Santosh Rastogi and kuldeep Negi.
Following an investigation into a case by inspector Atal Bihari on April 25, 2018, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) was formed to probe the case.
The case has been submitted. Mr. Khan was Minister for Urban Development in Akhilesh Yadav’s government, and he was alleged that the recruitment standards in Uttar Pradesh Jal Nijam were not complied with.
