The Border Security Forces (BSF) successfully intercepted and brought down a Pakistani drone in Punjab’s Tarn Taran district after it violated Indian airspace. The drone, identified as a DJI Matrice 300 RTK, was shot down in Lakhana village. The BSF shared images of the intercepted drone on Twitter.
Incidents of Pakistani Drones Caught in Indian Territory

There have been several instances of Pakistani drones being discovered in Indian territory in recent times. In a joint operation with the Punjab Police, the BSF recovered a Pakistani drone from the outskirts of Dal village in Tarn Taran district on June 14. The recovered drone was a quadcopter belonging to the DJI Matrice 300 RTK series.
Another Pakistani drone of the same model was recovered on June 12 on the outskirts of Shaidpur Kalan village in Amritsar, Punjab. Just a day before that, a DJI Matrice 300 RTK series drone from Pakistan was recovered by a joint team of the BSF and Punjab Police in the Tarn Taran district. The recovered drone was found in a broken condition with a string attached for carrying a payload. It was carrying a packet of suspected heroin weighing approximately 5.5 kg.
