Ezra Miller’s following their controversy regarding an arrest in Hawaii, The Flash star Ezra Miller may lose the mantle of the Scarlet Speedster.
The actor was charged with disorderly conduct and harassment after an altercation in a Hawaii karaoke bar. According to reports, Miller made a huge scene by yelling obscene words at the guests and grabbing the mic away from a woman singing at the bar. They also charged at a 32-year-old man, despite the bar owner’s repeated attempts to calm them down.
According to Rolling Stone, Warner Bros. executives recently met to discuss Ezra Miller’s role in the studio’s future films. According to the article, the studio has halted all projects involving the actor following their arrest in Hawaii. This includes a possible Flash sequel as well as other DC Extended Universe projects.
However, it isn’t just the arrest that has caused concern for the studio; one insider told Rolling Stone about Miller having “frequent meltdowns” on the set of The Flash, in which the actor was described as “losing it,” despite the fact that there were no violent outbursts.
Miller has been in the public eye for all the wrong reasons, dating back to 2020, when he choked a woman in an Iceland bar. Because they were a part of the third film in the Fantastic Beasts series at the time, the actor was able to avoid any axing.
However, with the release of Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore next week, it appears that Miller is in serious danger of being fired by Warner Bros.
