F2 Sprint Race, The Brazilian took advantage of the vacancy left by Trident’s Calan Williams, who stalled on the start and had to start from the pit lane.
Drugovich took command of the race from the start, nailing the Safety Car restart after Juri Vips made a mistake. Drugovich now leads the drivers’ standings with 61 points, five more than fifth-place finisher Theo Pourchaire. Ayumu Iwasa finished second in the DAMS, just 2.1 seconds back at the finish line
Logan Sargeant, a Williams F1 junior, finished third, his first podium finish in the series, after a strong drive.Marcus Armstrong and Liam Lawson fought hard to finish ninth and tenth, respectively. The race was mostly uneventful, with Barcelona proving difficult to overtake yet again.
Drugovich leads Pourchaire by five points heading into the feature race, with Daruvala in third, 20 points back. Liam Lawson rounds out the top four with 35 points, ahead of Verschoor (32 points) and Ralph Boschung (32 points), who is unable to compete due to neck pain.
