Users can now access Creative Cloud libraries directly from Docs and Slides, thanks to Adobe and Google Workspace. You’ll be able to access assets and elements from libraries, such as graphics, brand colours, and videos, without leaving the Google apps, thanks to an add-on.
It could be a useful integration for creatives and teams who prefer to work in Docs and Slides, especially those who collaborate on documents and slideshows. It has the potential to make it much easier for creatives to share their work with clients and receive feedback.
Until now, the add-on, which was released by Adobe and Google last year, only worked with Gmail. Google Workspace users and administrators can now activate the Docs and Slides add-on.
The Creative Cloud Add-on for Google Workspace has been updated to bring the power of Creative Cloud Libraries to Google Docs and Slides. The integration allows you to access and use elements such as brand colors, character styles, and graphics directly within the Google Docs and Slides that you and your teams use to share ideas, receive feedback, and collaborate on work.
This integration will enable even more fluid workflows for teams of all sizes, as creative and business stakeholders will be able to collaborate in Google Docs and Google Slides, importing and linking to assets directly from Creative Cloud Libraries. All of this will make maintaining a single source of truth for things like brand and marketing documents, guides, and presentations easier. Furthermore, the integration facilitates the collection of feedback from stakeholders outside of the creative world.
See how having your approved brand assets on hand in Creative Cloud Libraries, in the tools you use, makes sharing easier than ever.
Collaborating with other designers is a breeze with Adobe apps like Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and XD’s easy access to Libraries. And having access to Creative Cloud in tools that business stakeholders use, such as Google Docs and Slides, makes it easier than ever to maintain creative control and deliver consistent, cohesive brand experiences across every step of the customer journey.
