The map for GTA 6 could have leaked online, sending Grand Theft Auto fans into a panic. This isn’t our first rumoured look at the world, but it is our most comprehensive, and if it’s true, Rockstar Games is preparing a huge map for the upcoming Grand Theft Auto game.
The roots of this new map can be traced all the way back to early 2020, when this photograph claiming to be a piece of the game’s map appeared online. This leak was followed by another leak in late 2020.
Several leakers, both credible and untrustworthy, have said that the game’s central location is Vice City, the series’ fictional take on Miami. However, there is some debate about the rest of the game’s map. Some say that the map has been supplemented with numerous Caribbean islands. Others say that the game’s other core location is South America, and that the map would include several American cities. These photos seem to support the game’s setting in Vice City and the surrounding Caribbean, but only if they are genuine.
Fast forward a little bit, and a new image has emerged that completes the collection and provides a new perspective on the previously listed image. When combined, they provide Grand Theft Auto fans with the most comprehensive view of the game’s alleged map.
Rockstar Games has not commented on all of this as of the time of publication. It hasn’t commented on the previous images, and it hasn’t commented on the latest ones either.

In related news, an industry leaker recently denied rumours that Rockstar is preparing to announce the title, implying that the earliest Grand Theft Auto fans will be able to get their hands on GTA 6 is 2025.
The first picture in this series of leaks showed a vast body of land surrounded by a few smaller landmasses, which were probably islands. Based on previous leaks, the broad map may be Vice City and its surrounding area, with the smaller islands representing various Caribbean islands. In any case, when the huge map leaked, half of it was missing.
This latest leak completes the missing half. It doesn’t say anything, but when the different leaks are pieced together, they reveal three vast landmasses with more than one large city and a number of smaller islands.
