The director Julie Delpy says in her retirement plans that she turned down her fourth film in the famous ‘Before’ series in the last year and a half.
Delpy was wandering around through hoops to make her “My Zoe” film, which, according to the reports, left her tired and filled with the film industry. Delpy said about leaving the industry “I think about it often.”
“I wasn’t far away a year and a half ago. I’d get exhausted by the hell I passed for making my film (‘My Zoe’). For the fourth part of the ‘Ahead’ films, I said no to Richard Linklater.

The French-American actor, 51, hasn’t yet retired, but still struggles to finance her projects. Not one of Emilia Clarke’s high profile “Game of Thrones,” she said, will make her film “A Dazzling Display of Splendor” an easy way to the screen.
