“You have had one too many… act like an adult,” the message reads.
Banerjee, in turn, praised an unnamed “gentleman” for exposing the “beautiful activities of a versatile international lady”, while also stating that “not a single boyfriend stood with her”—a reference believed to be aimed at a fellow TMC MP.
Saugata Roy Responds: ‘We Are Ashamed’
Senior TMC leader and MP Saugata Roy broke his silence on the matter, admitting that the leak has caused embarrassment to the party.
“The screenshots which have been published have put us to shame and embarrassment. This should not have happened. Every party should maintain internal privacy,” Roy said, urging party leadership to intervene.
