Ambitious Tunnel Road Project
In a letter addressed to Minister Sitharaman, Deputy CM Shivakumar requested the allocation of central funds for the ambitious tunnel road project in Bengaluru. This proposed tunnel road aims to connect National Highways 7 and 4, providing a significant infrastructural boost to the region.
Bengaluru Metro and Gazette Notification
Apart from the tunnel road project, Shivakumar sought financial support for Bengaluru metro projects, emphasizing their importance in enhancing the city’s transportation network. Additionally, he appealed for Minister Sitharaman’s intervention in obtaining a Gazette notification for the third phase of the Upper Krishna project—a critical lifeline for the North Karnataka region.
