Bengaluru, April 16, 2025 – The Karnataka Department of School Education has officially launched the application process for admissions under the Right to Education (RTE) Act for the academic year 2025–26. This initiative aims to provide free and compulsory education to children from economically and socially disadvantaged backgrounds in private unaided schools across the state.​

• Final Lottery List Publication: May 17, 2025

Eligibility Criteria

• Residency: The child must be a resident of Karnataka.
• Income Limit: The family’s annual income should not exceed ₹3.5 lakh.
• Age Criteria:
  • LKG Admission: Child should be between 4 and 6 years old.

Seat Allocation and Lottery System
