NEET PG 2025 City Allotment Slip Not Yet Released, NBEMS Silent on Delay

City slips were expected on June 2 but are still unavailable. Admit cards are scheduled for June 11

New Delhi — Medical PG aspirants were left in the lurch on June 2, with the expected release of the NEET PG 2025 city allotment slip failing to materialise on the NBEMS website. No update was posted through the day, and by evening, frustration had begun surfacing on student forums and Telegram groups.

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) had previously indicated the slips would be released in early June. Based on past trends, June 2 seemed the likely date — but as of 6 PM, there was no access link or announcement on nbe.edu.in.

With the NEET PG exam just under two weeks away, students are now anxiously waiting for clarification.

No Official Communication Yet

As of this report, NBEMS has not issued a formal notice explaining the delay. There is also no revised date posted for when the city slips will be available. The board’s silence has left many candidates confused, especially those who may need to make last-minute travel plans.

“This is stressful. We planned bookings assuming the slip would come today,” said Shruti A., a final-year MBBS intern preparing from Nagpur. “Even a one-day delay affects cost and coordination.”

Why the City Slip Matters

The city slip doesn’t give the full address of the exam centre — that comes with the admit card — but it tells you which city you’ve been assigned. For thousands of candidates writing from outside their home state, this makes a huge difference in travel and accommodation planning.

Once the link is live, candidates will be able to check their assigned exam city by logging in with their NEET PG registration details.

What Remains Unchanged

Despite the delay in city slips, other NEET PG dates appear to remain as scheduled:

  • Admit Card Release: June 11
  • Exam Date: June 15
  • Internship Completion Deadline: July 31
  • Results: Expected in mid-July

This year’s NEET PG will be held in a single shift, following a Supreme Court order issued last month. The court had expressed concerns about fairness if the exam were held in multiple sessions, as was originally planned.

What Candidates Should Do Now

At this stage, students are advised to:

  • Avoid relying on unverified city slip links on WhatsApp or social media
  • Keep checking the official NBEMS website (nbe.edu.in) every few hours
  • Prepare key documents like ID proof and login credentials in advance
  • Plan flexible travel if possible — especially if your exam city turns out to be far away

No last-minute changes in centre or city are allowed, so candidates will need to be ready for wherever they are assigned.

Voices from the Ground

Many students expressed disappointment that the board had not communicated proactively.

“Even a short update saying it’s delayed would be helpful,” said Rahul M., an MBBS graduate from Chennai. “We’re already under pressure — now this adds more.”

Coaching institutes also began circulating reminders to only trust official sources and to avoid clicking unknown PDF or login links claiming to host the city slip.

Bottom Line

The NEET PG 2025 city slip has not been released as of June 2, and no official reason has been provided. NBEMS is expected to update the portal soon, possibly within the next 24 to 48 hours.

Until then, students should stay alert, avoid panic, and continue preparing for the June 15 exam. We will post an update as soon as the slip becomes available.
