Thunderstorms Move Into Northeast Ohio – Strong Winds and Severe Weather Expected
A strong band of thunderstorms is moving into Northeast Ohio Sunday night, bringing severe weather conditions and winds reaching up to 50 MPH. The National Weather Service issued an alert around 10:40 p.m.(EDT), warning residents of possible disruptions caused by the storms.
Areas in the Path of the Thunderstorms
The storms are currently stretching along a line from near Euclid to North Royalton and Lodi. Communities expected to be impacted by the severe weather include Cleveland, Akron, Medina, Painesville, Willowick, Chardon, Fairport Harbor, Parma, Cuyahoga Falls, Euclid, Mentor, Cleveland Heights, Strongsville, Brunswick, North Royalton, Barberton, Solon, Willoughby, Hudson, and Wadsworth.
