Passenger Opens Emergency Exit Door On South Korean Flight, Lands Safely
A passenger aboard a South Korean flight created a tense situation when they partially opened the emergency exit door just minutes before the aircraft was scheduled to land. Despite the incident, the flight managed to land safely.

According to officials, fellow passengers on the Asiana Airlines Airbus A321 attempted to prevent the individual from opening the door but were unsuccessful. The door eventually opened partially, as reported by the Transport Ministry. The passenger responsible for the act was subsequently detained.

Video footage captured by a passenger on board and shared on social media shows the forceful wind blowing into the cabin through the open door, causing some passengers’ hair to be whipped around. Fortunately, no passengers suffered injuries, although a few had to be hospitalized as a precautionary measure.
