Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Assam today to dedicate projects worth around Rs. 14,300 crore to the nation on the first day of the state’s spring festival – Rongali Bihu. The projects are expected to focus on infrastructure development, healthcare, and education in the state.
The Prime Minister will be inaugurating the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Guwahati, which is expected to be a significant development for the healthcare sector in the state. Additionally, PM Modi will also be inaugurating several road projects that aim to improve connectivity in the state, including the construction of a four-lane bridge over the Brahmaputra river.
