Eligibility Criteria for Admissions 2025

Prospective candidates must fulfill the following requirements to be eligible for admission:

• Academic Qualification: Applicants must have passed the SSC (Class 10) or an equivalent examination in 2025. This includes students from CBSE and ICSE boards.
• Age Limit: The upper age limit is 18 years as of December 31, 2025. For SC/ST candidates, the age limit is 21 years.
• Merit-Based Selection: Admissions will be based on Grade Point Average (GPA) and subject-wise grades. An additional deprivation score of 0.4 may be added for students from non-residential government schools.

Reservation Policy and Seat Allotment

The seat matrix follows a comprehensive reservation policy to ensure fair representation:

• 85% of the seats are reserved for local candidates from Andhra Pradesh.
• The remaining 15% are open to students from both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, in line with the Presidential Order 371 Article D.
• Additional supernumerary seats are reserved for:
  • Candidates from other Indian states
  • Children of Indian workers in Gulf countries
  • NRI students
