The Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT) has officially announced the commencement of the 2025 admissions for its prestigious six-year Integrated B.Tech program offered across four IIIT campuses in Andhra Pradesh. The application process began on April 27, 2025, and will remain open until May 20, 2025, at 5:00 PM.
This integrated engineering course, which includes a two-year Pre-University Course (PUC) followed by a four-year B.Tech program, is designed to offer holistic education starting right after Class 10.
Eligibility Criteria for Admissions 2025
Prospective candidates must fulfill the following requirements to be eligible for admission:
- Academic Qualification: Applicants must have passed the SSC (Class 10) or an equivalent examination in 2025. This includes students from CBSE and ICSE boards.
- Age Limit: The upper age limit is 18 years as of December 31, 2025. For SC/ST candidates, the age limit is 21 years.
- Merit-Based Selection: Admissions will be based on Grade Point Average (GPA) and subject-wise grades. An additional deprivation score of 0.4 may be added for students from non-residential government schools.

The six-year B.Tech program will be offered at four RGUKT campuses across Andhra Pradesh:

- RK Valley (Idupulapaya)
- Srikakulam
- Ongole
Students undergo two years of pre-university education at the respective campuses before advancing to the four-year engineering degree. Branch allocation is based on performance during the PUC phase.
Reservation Policy and Seat Allotment
The seat matrix follows a comprehensive reservation policy to ensure fair representation:
- 85% of the seats are reserved for local candidates from Andhra Pradesh.
- The remaining 15% are open to students from both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, in line with the Presidential Order 371 Article D.
- Additional supernumerary seats are reserved for:
- Candidates from other Indian states
- Children of Indian workers in Gulf countries
- NRI students
