Shah Rukh Khan’s latest movie, Dunki, has been in theaters for over two weeks, facing challenges in sustaining its box office momentum. As it entered its 15th day, the film’s collections witnessed a dip, earning Rs 2.65 crore on its second Thursday.
Box Office Numbers
Dunki’s box office collections have primarily lingered in single-digit figures throughout its second week, with the latest Thursday marking its lowest collection to date. The film has amassed a domestic nett collection of Rs 206.53 crore. However, it still lags behind the blockbuster “3 Idiots.”
Global Performance
Despite facing tough competition from Salaar upon release, Dunki managed to garner a global box office collection of Rs 417.1 crore, according to Red Chillies Entertainment, the film’s producers. While Dunki has a relatively clear field in theaters for the next few weeks, crossing the Rs 500 crore mark seems challenging.
Challenges Ahead
Dunki faces an uphill battle to match the success of “3 Idiots” and reach the coveted Rs 500 crore milestone. The film’s performance will be closely watched in the coming weeks to determine its long-term success in the box office.
