The film continued to perform exceptionally well over the weekend. On Friday and Saturday, it collected Rs 53.23 crore and Rs 77.83 crore, respectively. According to estimates from Sacnilk.com, ‘Jawan’ earned approximately Rs 81 crore on Sunday alone. This brought the film’s total earnings to approximately Rs 287 crore.
Movie trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan shared the historic milestone achieved by ‘Jawan.’ The film sold a record-breaking 2,875,961 tickets from tracked shows in India on the fourth day, making it the biggest ever opening for a Bollywood film. Additionally, the film has joined the elite ₹500 crore club worldwide, with Shah Rukh Khan becoming the only actor to achieve this feat twice in a single year.
The film’s global success is also worth noting. It grossed a total of ₹85.10 crore, with Hindi versions contributing ₹76.07 crore, Tamil versions ₹5.59 crore, and Telugu versions ₹3.44 crore. Major national multiplex chains, including PVR, INOX, and Cinepolis, played a significant role in the film’s success.
‘Jawan’ features an impressive cast, including Deepika Padukone in an extended cameo and Vijay Sethupathi as the main antagonist. Other notable actors in the film include Nayanthara, Sunil Grover, Sanya Malhotra, Ridhi Dogra, Priyamani, Ashlesha Thakur, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Girija Oak, Lehar Khan, and Aaliyah Qureishi.
