Sonam Kapoor, who is currently stationed in London with her husband Anand Ahuja, posted an Instagram Story photo of their office. The warm and inviting environment exudes a homey vibe.
The photo, which was first shared on Instagram Stories by Sonam Kapoor and then by architect and designer Rooshad Shroff, drew attention to the embroidered credenza, which adds an understated elegance to the room.
A gold-colored tissue holder, some books, and a large flower vase were on the sideboard. A small table was surrounded by four white chairs in one cosy corner.
The carpet added to the room’s cosiness. Sonam recently spoke with Vogue about life in London and how cooking and cleaning the house are part of their daily routine. “Here I like liberty.
I’m making my own food, cleaning my own space and shopping for my own food,” she said. She also discovered she was dressed up for home cooked dinners with Anand Ahuja.
Sonam posted a photo earlier this year and told Anand about her desperate desire to return to India. “I miss India so much, and I was eager to go home and desperately see my families and friends.
I realise, though, that I could dissolve a little bit of my new home, including my lovely husband @anandahuja. She wrote about Instagram: ‘A bad day in London remains better than any other good day.’
In 2007, Sonam made her Saawariya debut. Her films include Raanjhana, Choobsurat, Dhan Payo Prem Ratan, Neerja and Pad Man. She is a successful film producer.
Most recently, in Netflix film AK V’s AK, her father Anil Kapoor and Anurag Kashyap were playing a fictionalised version of herself. In Blind, a reworking of a South Korean thriller in 2011, she will be seen next.
