Author and philanthropist Sudha Murthy, along with Oscar-winning producer Guneet Monga and actress Raveena Tandon, will appear on the upcoming episode of The Kapil Sharma Show. During the episode, a video was released showing Sudha Murthy recalling an incident where she was called a ‘cattle-class person’ at an airport.
The Incident
Sudha Murthy was wearing a salwar suit and holding a business class ticket when she was waiting in a queue at the airport. According to her, a few people made assumptions about her class and addressed her as ‘cattle class’. When she asked them about the meaning of the term, they replied that they let an economy class person travel in business class.
Her Reaction
Sudha Murthy believes that a person’s class is not defined by how much money they have or what kind of property they own. She stated that people who show dedication to their work and do good deeds are the ones with true class. She cited the examples of people like Manjul Bhargava and Mother Teresa, who have made India successful and earned a name for themselves.
