The Realme X7 Max was supposed to be released in India on May 4, but the company postponed the event due to the second wave of COVID-19. Now, a supposedly leaked image of the Realme X7 Max’s retail box has surfaced, revealing some specifications. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimension 1200 SoC, as expected. The phone is said to be a rebranded Realme GT Neo, so we know what it’s about.
The well-known leaker @Gadgetsdata shared an image of the Realme X7 Max’s retail box on Twitter. A MediaTek 1200 soC 5G-enabled dimension and a super AMOLED 120Hz display are also included in the box. Furthermore, the image contains no other information. The Realme X7 Max is said to be a rebranded Realme GT Neo that was released in China in March.
Realme had planned an event for May 4 to launch a 1200 SoC MediaTek Dimension phone, but it was cancelled due to the severe second COVID-19 wave. The Realme X7 Max was supposed to be unveiled at the event, but it is unclear when the phone will be available.
Specifications (Expected)
The Realme X7 Max is expected to be a Realme GT Neo with a full 6.43″ HD+ (1.080×2.400 pixel) Samsung Super AMOLED display, a 120Hz sample rate, a 360Hz Touch sample rate, and a 91.7 per cent body screen rate. It features a MediaTek 1200 SoC and storage capacities of up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.1.
In terms of optics, the Realme X7 Max could have three rear cameras: a 64-megapixel Sony IMX682 primary sensor, an 8-megapixel lens sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro shot. A 16-megapixel sensor could be housed in front of a hole-punch cutout. The Realme X7 Max may include an in-display fingerprint scanner as well as a 4,500mAh 65W fast-charge battery.
