Samsung Co-CEO Han Jong-hee Dies of Cardiac Arrest at 63 Amid Growing Industry Pressures
Han Jong-hee, co-chief executive officer and vice chairman of Samsung Electronics, passed away from cardiac arrest while on a medical leave, the South Korean tech giant confirmed on Tuesday. He was 63.
Han was receiving treatment at a hospital during his time off when the fatal cardiac event occurred, according to a Samsung spokesperson. A successor has not yet been named.
