The Uttar Pradesh Municipal Election Results 2023 have been announced, and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has declared that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has won more than double the seats compared to the previous local body polls in 2017. The BJP is set to achieve a sweeping victory in the urban local body elections, retaining its hold on the Nagar Nigam, Nagar Palika Parishad, and Nagar Panchayat polls.
