Vaccination, The government of Uttar Pradesh will launch a massive campaign to vaccinate one crore population against Covid-19 during the next 30 days. Tuesday, the campaign “Mission June” will take place.
During the campaign, drivers, vendors, and rickshaw pullers from June 15 will be on a specific vaccination drive throughout the State since they interact with many people daily.
“We want a single crore people in the month of June to take vaccine shots. We are able to achieve our goal with sufficient vaccine vials,” CEO Yogi Adityanath said at a Covid review meeting in Lucknow on Monday.
The CM also directed health officials to keep in touch with the central government and vaccine manufacturing companies to ensure that the supply of vaccines is not variable, stating that preparations are underway to fight war.
The administration will establish around 6,000 vaccination centres throughout the state in order to achieve the target. Officials were instructed to guarantee the hassle-free inoculation of all segments of society, particularly those that are so much socially and economically weak.
The Government of the state has already set up special vaccine camps in each district for journalists, government officials and judicial officers, one for the district court, two for government officials and one for media staff.
To date, 1.83.32.104 people in Uttar Pradesh were vaccinated with a minimum dose of 1 dose and 34.80.181 full two-dose vaccinated. Almost two-thirds are in the 45-year age group of people receiving at least one dose.
More than 34 lakhs in the 18-44 age group received a dose of at least one vaccine. Lucknow has mostly vaccinated (9.16 lakh), followed by Gautam Buddh Nagar (6.19 lakh), Kanpur (5.88 lakh), Ghaziabad (5.82 lakh), and Meerut among the districts (5.77 lakh).
The active CBC-19 caseload has continued to drop to 37.044 patients in the state, with 1,497 new cases and 5,491 patients in the last 24 hours recovery..
There have been 20,497 deaths, with 151 more deaths. On Monday, 4 June, the Government ordered a ‘Serological Survey’ to help detect a volume of coronaviral immunity between the population.
A blood serum test for a group of individuals will be used in order to determine whether antibodies to Covid 19 infection are present. The survey report is scheduled to be published by the end of June, the government said.
