The court issued an interim stay on screenings until 10:30 AM Thursday, resulting in the cancellation of early morning shows, including those scheduled before 10 AM in PVR and Cinepolis theatres.
B4U Seeks Compensation Over OTT Deal
The dispute stems from B4U’s claim that producer Riya Shibu failed to uphold a prior agreement to sell the film’s OTT rights before its theatrical release. Reports say the court has asked the producer to deposit ₹7 crore and submit related documentation within 48 hours.
Additionally, 123Telugu reported that premiere shows in the US were also cancelled due to the same legal complications.

Despite heavy promotions by Vikram, fans who had eagerly booked tickets for early screenings were left disappointed. Several showings were pulled from booking platforms without official clarification from the production team, creating confusion.
