Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma announced on Instagram that they have started a fundraiser to support India’s fight against the COVID. Anushka and Virat shared the news with their fans in an Instagram video, saying it hurts them to see their country suffer. They also expressed gratitude to front-line healthcare workers and encouraged people to donate during this time of need.

“As our country battles the second wave of Covid-19, and our healthcare systems face extreme challenges, it breaks my heart to see our people suffer,” Anushka wrote on Facebook after sharing the video. So, with the help of Ketto, Virat and I have started a campaign called #InThisTogether to raise funds for Covid-19 relief.
This crisis will be overcome by all of us working together. Please take the initiative to show your support for India and Indians. During this critical time, your contribution will aid in the saving of lives.
This comes just days after Anushka took to Instagram to urge people to unite and support one another in these trying times, as well as reveal that she and Kohli are planning to assist India in the fight against Covid19.
“Hi guys, I hope you all are safe,” Anushka said at the time, thanking fans for their birthday greetings. I just wanted to express my gratitude for all of the wonderful birthday greetings.
It added a special touch to my day. But, in the midst of all this pain and suffering, celebrating my birthday just didn’t feel right. But I’ve seen your personal messages to me, and I’d like to send you an important message.
In this hour of crisis, I would like to appeal to everyone to come together and support our country.” Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, Sonu Sood, Priyanka Chopra, and Sushmita Sen are just a few of the celebrities who have stepped forward to help the country in this time of need.
