Kriti Sanon and Akshay Kumar have released a new poster for their upcoming action-comedy film ‘Bachchhan Paandey,’ revealing the first look of the ‘Mimi’ actress. Kriti plays Myra Devekar, an aspiring director who sets out to make a gripping gangster biopic based on the life of Bachchan Pandey, played by the ‘Sooryavanshi’ actor.

After three years apart, Akshay Kumar and Kriti Sanon will reunite on the big screen in ‘Housefull 4’, a fantasy comedy film that was released for Diwali in 2019. Farhad Samji, the director of ‘Bachchhan Paandey,’ the Holi release in 2022, also directed the fourth film in the ‘Housefull’ franchise.
Bachchan Pandey, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, promises to transport audiences to India’s heartland with larger-than-life cinematography and breathtaking action choreography. Pankaj Tripathi, Sanjay Mishra, Abhimanyu Singh, Arshad Warsi, and Jacqueline Fernandez round out the talented cast.
Kriti Sanon has four films scheduled for release in 2022, in addition to ‘Bachchan Pandey.’ Her upcoming films include the mythological drama ‘Adipurush,’ in which she co-stars with Prabhas, the action drama ‘Shehzada,’ in which she co-stars with Kartik Aaryan, the horror-comedy ‘Bhediya,’ in which she co-stars with Varun Dhawan, and the action thriller ‘Ganapath,’ in which she co-stars with Tiger Shroff.
In contrast, Akshay Kumar has four other projects lined up for 2022. His upcoming projects include the historical-action drama ‘Prithviraj,’ in which he co-stars with debutante Manushi Chhillar, the family drama ‘Raksha Bandhan,’ the action-adventure drama ‘Ram Setu,’ and the satirical comedy ‘OMG 2.’
