Today, a migrant worker was murdered in Budgam, Kashmir, just hours after a bank manager was murdered in Kulgam. Another employee was injured in the assault and transported to the hospital.

Ilaquai Dehati Bank manager Vijay Kumar was shot in the Kulgam district on Thursday, the latest in a string of targeted killings in the Union Territory. Kumar was a Rajasthani native.
Terrorists shot and killed Kumar within the bank, the eighth targeted killing in the Valley since May 1 and the third involving a non-Muslim government employee.
Various political parties have attacked the BJP over the situation in Kashmir and demanded explanations from the local administration regarding the recent increase in targeted killings.
