The psychological thriller ‘Alice, darling,’ Anna Kendrick has booked her next gig. The reports indicate that Mary Nighy is the director of the feature film set up at Lionsgate.
Charlie Carrick, Wunmi Mosaku and Kaniehtiio Horn are also featured. The film will see Kendrick play Alice who behaves oddly with her mercurial boyfriend (Carrick) and two of her best friends (Mosaku and Horn).
“Alice, Darling,” Nighy said is a subtle, nuanced storey about coercion and control. “As a director, I couldn’t hope for this important storey to come to life by a better number of talented actors and designers.
The chemistry of the three friends between Anna Kendrick, Wunmi Mosaku and Kaniehtiio Horn is a joy to see,” said the director.
Nighy is going to lead the film out of an Alanna Francis script. Kendrick and Sam Tipper-Hale will also act as managing producer for Alice, Darling.
The producers are Katie Bird Nolan, Christina Piovesan, Lindsay Tapscott and Noah Segal. Lionsgate is partnering in the film production of Babe Nation Films, Elevation Pictures and Castelletto Films.
