Punjab CEO Amarinder Singh was compelled to quit on Saturday in the context of the ongoing crisis within the Punjab congress, even as a final decision was reached to reassign the head of the new Congressional legislative party chief to head Punjab’s Party chairperson Sonia Gandhi.
At the meeting of the Congress of the Punjab Legiaton Party (AICC) on September 18, Captain Amarinder handed over Governor Banwarilal Purohit’s congressional resignation, a step that has been largely understood as a revoking of his chief of ministers.
Capture Amarinder submitted his letter of resignation to the Governor and stated that, “they invited the MLAs to Delhi two times and lately the CLP called here in Chandigarh. He said he decided in the morning to renounce President Sonia Gandhi.
“It seems (the top command of Congress) has no confidence in me and I do not think I can fulfil my obligations.” “However, it was embarrassing to me how they handled the whole matter.” He knew about it. “Let them give their name to someone they trust,” he told the party’s leadership with a punch.
Capture Amarinder stated that following consultations with followers who have stood behind him for over fifty years, he would pick his future political course of action.
The one-line resignation letter declared “Therefore, I resigned on behalf of myself and my Council of Ministers.” Capt. Amarinder met certain MLAs and MPs at his official house earlier that day, before his resignation.
President Navjot Singh Sidhu was portrayed by Captain Amarinder as an antinational, violent, impredictable, and incompetent president of the Punjab Congress.
Whether Sidhu, manifestly mixed in Pakistan and a risk to Punjab, the country, and a tragedy, should be encouraged was no question. The outgoing Chief Minister added: “I will continue to fight against the problems that have been awful to his government and his people.
Though Captain Amarinder said not, Captain Amarinder was clearly present at Iman. “We watched Imran Khan and General Bajwa every Sunday hugging and loudly chanting to the Pakistani Prime Minister every day on the Kartarpur Corridor while our forces killed the border.”
Capt Amarinder claimed that he is going to struggle to make the President of the Congress of Punjab’s Chief Minister a “tooth and a nail.”
“The security of India is the Punjab’s government. I shall fight it at any time when Sidhu is nominated as Chief Minister of Congress. “
The conference accepted two resolutions. 78 MLA’s were present after the meeting of the CLP, Congresswoman and Punjab Provincial Observive Ajay Maken stated. “The first resolution recognised Captain Amarinder Singh’s service of the Punjab state and the Party, and his leadership will continue in the future.
The second resolution empowered the President of Congress to nominate the CLP leader. Whoever decides, everyone is happy “He noticed it. The second resolution empowered the President of Congress to nominate the CLP leader. “Everybody will accept that whenever she chooses,” he remarked.
The previous President of the Punjab Congress, Sunil Yakhar, has often been seen as the leader of the next CSC campaign; a party driven by the nomination of Navjot Singh Sidhu as the Hindu Leader’s Chief Minister and the recent CPC Chief election of Jat Sikh.
The commando has scheduled a Punjab CLP meeting at midnight on September 17th, following a series of meetings in the last few months. Sonia Gandhi, President of Congress, was instructed to speak to the Chief Minister after nearly 40 MLAs had written against Capt.
Amrinder to the party’s central leadership expressing “the lack of confidence in the leadership of the Chief Minister in keeping pledges made by the Party at the 2017 meeting.” They accused the top leadership of the party of failing to implement the 18-point programme. They had called for a conference of the Legislative Party.
“AICC is represented by many conference party MLAs who want a quick meeting of the Congressional Legislative Party in Punjab.”
In a tweet on the night of September 18th, the AICC, which is responsible for Punjab, stated that at the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee Headquarters at 5 p.m., even most of the party MPs were surprised.
In particular amongst people who have been slack against capitain Amarinder in recent months, Sukhjinder Randhawa, Tript Rajinder Bajwa, Sukhbinder Sarkaria and Charanjit Channi, the leadership of the Chair of Ministers to fulfil the promises made in the Party election assembly in 2017 has been lacking, as opposed to other MEP’s. Other MLAs are also included.
The uncompromising leaders have noted that the government of Amarinder has not solved a number of problems, including the Bargari sacrilege, the eradication of narcotics mafias and transport mafias, and other elections in 2017.
The AICC has chosen Mr. Sidhu as president of the PPCC during the power struggle between Capt. Amarinder, and Navjot Singh Sidhu, President of the State Party. Since the Lok Sabha elections in 2019, Captain Amarinder and Mr. Sidhu have been at odds.
