Apollo Fertility, a subsidiary of Apollo Health & Lifestyle and Apollo Hospitals, has announced the opening of its 17th standalone, flagship fertility center in Lajpat Nagar, Delhi.
“It is spread over 8500 square feet and has one IVF lab with class 100 OT and laminar airflow to offer clean air for embryos.” Clinicians and embryologists will be on hand to provide services. “Apollo Fertility Centres, in keeping with the goal of Apollo Hospitals, strive to provide fertility treatment of international standards within the reach of every individual,” the hospital said in a statement.
“Infertility has emerged as one of the most common health conditions among many young couples in recent years.” Sedentism, stress, abnormal sleep habits, diabetes, obesity, smoking, and alcohol are only a few of the factors contributing to the surge in infertility in India. According to The Indian Society of Assisted Reproduction, infertility currently affects 10 to 14 percent of the Indian population, with higher rates in urban areas, where one out of every six couples is affected,” said Dr Sweta Gupta, Senior Consultant-Reproductive Medicine & IVF at Apollo Fertility at the launch.
“Many couples who desire to create a family but are unable to conceive suffer from psychological and interpersonal turmoil, which has a significant influence on their quality of life.” Infertility therapies, such as drugs and procedures like IVF, can assist couples in overcoming infertility and achieving conception,” Dr Gupta noted.
“India has become the most sought-after destination for all infertility-related, inexpensive, and high-quality treatment that the country can offer.” Apollo Fertility has recently opened new clinics in Kolkata, Noida, Thane, Solapur, Varanasi, Guwahati, and Hyderabad. “The newly established facility at Lajpat Nagar would be a benefit to many parents who are trying to conceive and may now use our world-class services,” stated Chandrasekhar C, CEO, Apollo Health & Lifestyle Limited, during the event.
