BTS’s Jungkook Deletes Instagram Account, Says He Prefers Weverse For Livestreams

Jungkook, BTS’s youngest member, has deleted his Instagram account, jungkook.97. Jungkook announced the action in a series of messages on the Weverse fan community forum on Tuesday. The singer explained why he also stopped using Instagram.

As Twitter user @BTStranslation_ translates what Jungkook posted on Weverse: “I’ve stopped using Instagram. It has not been hacked:) I deleted it because I never opened it. Don’t be concerned.”

Similarly, in another thread, he wrote, “What should I do if I don’t use it? When I want to do a livestream, I prefer to do it on Weverse.” He also stated “I’ve also uninstalled the app and doubt I’ll use it again. Let me warn you right now!!!”

On Twitter, a supporter stated, “JK (Jungkook) is correct, however; he is not making the most of it. His Weverse LIVE experience is fantastic, and it brings me closer to him as a person. It’s so touching that he finally told us how he feels and what happened to Bam today.” I’m sorry he has to go through this, but I’m happy for him because, as one commenter put it, he’s a strong-willed individual who knows what he wants.
