When the Indian Premier League returns to Dubai on Sunday, the defending champions are the Mumbai Indians against the MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings (IPL).
The Chennai Super Kings have been one of the most consistent league teams, with three titles since 2008. Nonetheless, CSK will be without two major international talents in Faf du Plessis and Sam Curran.
On the opposite side, Mumbai Indians are the most successful defending champions in IPL history. MI is a 20-man strong team, including Rohit Sharma, Ki Pollard, Hardik Pandya, and Jasprit Bumrah.
It will be no different when the two sets meet on Sunday. It will be the biggest rivalry in IPL history. Rohit Sharma’s squad is now fourth in the IPL 2021 point table, aimed at winning Chennai’s second in the UAE beat.
