India is battling a second wave of coronavirus infection, with hospitals in several states suffering from a severe shortage of medical oxygen and beds in response to the rising number of COVID-19 cases.
According to official data released on Friday, the country recorded 3.32 lakh new coronavirus cases and 2,263 additional fatalities in a single day.
