The Delhi Board of School Education (DBSE) has announced the results for the first-ever examination of Classes 10 and 12. The results, declared on Monday, have shown an outstanding pass percentage of over 99 percent in both classes.
Historic Achievement in DBSE Exams
The DBSE’s announcement of the Class 10 and 12 results marks a historic day for education in Delhi. The Education Minister, Atishi, described it as a significant milestone and emphasized the unique assessment process introduced by the DBSE for government schools. The results reflect the commitment to inclusive education and equal opportunities for all students.
Impressive Pass Percentage
Out of the total number of students who appeared for the Class 10 board exams, 99.49 percent successfully cleared the exams. Similarly, in Class 12, the pass percentage stood at an impressive 99.25 percent. These results highlight the dedication and hard work of both the students and the educators involved.
Commitment to Quality Education
During the announcement, Atishi emphasized the prominent focus on education by the Kejriwal government over the past eight years. The government has consistently allocated the highest portion of the financial budget to education, with 25% of Delhi’s budget dedicated to this sector. This investment has resulted in significant improvements in the quality of textbooks, uniforms, and overall infrastructure in government schools.
Specialized Excellence Schools
Established in 2021, the DBSE introduced 20 schools of specialized excellence in four domains: STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), Humanities, Performing and Visual Arts, and High-End 21st Century Skills. These specialized schools aim to provide focused education in secondary and senior secondary classes, fostering the growth and development of students’ talents.
The DBSE’s successful declaration of the Class 10 and 12 results sets a positive precedent for future examinations. It showcases the effectiveness of innovative education reforms and the commitment to providing world-class education to all children in Delhi.
