Diganth Manchale, a popular Kannada actor, was gravely hurt while participating in an adventurous activity in Goa on Tuesday, June 21. The actor was on vacation with his wife, Aindrita Ray.
Diganth received primary medical care in Goa before being evacuated to Bangalore for follow-up care at Manipal Hospital.

The hospital had previously stated that Diganth had suffered a sports injury two days prior and was being treated for it at Manipal Hospital in Goa.

On June 21, around 4:30 p.m., the actor arrived at Manipal Hospital in Bangalore.
On Tuesday, the hospital issued the following statement: “To whom it may concern – Kannada Cinestar Mr. Diganth Manchale has been hospitalised to Manipal Hospital, Old Airport Road, following a sporting injury. He is being evaluated further. The medical team is doing everything possible to assure his quick recovery. We would provide additional updates on his clinical circumstances to his well-wishers.”
Diganth is well-known for his adventurous spirit. He enjoys surfing, rock climbing, cycling, and scuba diving. The actor’s social media pages are routinely updated with images of him on such daring adventures.
Diganth will soon be seen in his forthcoming flick Gaalipata 2, which will be released in theatres on August 12.
