In a shocking confession to the National Investigation Agency (NIA), jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi revealed his top 10 murder targets, which include superstar Salman Khan and the manager of the late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala. Alongside these revelations, Bishnoi also spoke about the plot for Moose Wala’s murder. Bishnoi admitted to operating his gang with extortion money obtained from businessmen. His criminal activities span from his college days to becoming a feared gangster, and he disclosed details about his various crimes and killings to the NIA. During his time in prisons across Bharatpur, Faridkot, and other locations, he extorted crores of rupees from businessmen in Rajasthan. He also targeted club owners in Chandigarh, mall owners in Ambala, liquor businessmen, and occasionally bookies in Delhi and Punjab.
Lawrence Bishnoi’s Criminal Activities and Confession
Lawrence Bishnoi revealed that the plan for the murder of Youth Akali leader Vikramjit, also known as Vicky Middukhera, was orchestrated by gangsters Amit Dagar and Kaushal Chowdhary. He expressed his desire to avenge the killing of his cousin Amandeep by targeting Rummy Masana, a sharpshooter associated with the rival Gounder gang. Bishnoi provided details of his plan to eliminate the late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala, who was shot dead in Punjab’s Mansa district in the previous year. He disclosed that he had sent three shooters, Shahrukh, Danny, and Aman, to Moosewala’s village in September-October 2021, with the assistance of Mona Sarpanch and Jaggu Bhagwanpuria.
Weapons and Connections
Bishnoi shared that between 2018 and 2022, he purchased 25 weapons, including a 9 MM pistol and an AK 47, with the help of his associate Rohit Chowdhary from Uttar Pradesh’s Khurja. These weapons, acquired from arms supplier Kurban Chowdhary alias Shahzad for approximately Rs 2 crores, were utilized in Sidhu Moose Wala’s murder. The gangster also alleged that Gurpreet, the current leader of the Gounder gang, provided weapons to Rummy Masana for the killing of his cousin.
