Google I/O Is Coming Up Next Week
There are already videos about SEO and search in the works. Google Search Console now reports on event structured data in a different way. Schema.org has released a replacement for Google’s structured data testing tool.
Google may be displaying more people’s search results as well. Google could be testing a local ten pack, but it could also be a bug. Google My Business has been added. Direction requests and website visits will be added to the performance report in Google My Business.
In addition, Google My Business has introduced a new call history report, this time with data. They also released a booking report in the performance report, but it contains very little data. For about 18 months, there was a bug that displayed the addresses of businesses that had set their addresses not to appear in local results.
After Rachel Maddow’s ads were tainted by malware, Google released a video explaining how it labels Google ads. Google Search added a new easter egg for a query on dvd screensavers and for the WNBA’s 25th anniversary.
