Hailey thanked Selena for speaking out and mentioned that they have been discussing how to move past their ongoing narrative. She expressed concern about the hate surrounding their relationship and how it is harmful. Hailey also mentioned that she will be more thoughtful about what she posts online.
Selena Gomez’s Clarification Selena broke her silence and wrote that Hailey had reached out to her about receiving death threats and hateful negativity. She stated that this is not what she stands for and that no one should have to experience hate or bullying.
The Alleged Feud The feud between Hailey and Selena reportedly started when Hailey appeared to bully Selena online. A few months ago, Hailey posted and then deleted a video where she and her friends mouthed an audio that TikTok users surmised was referring to Selena. The beef between the two celebrities’ dates back to 2018 when Hailey got engaged to Justin Bieber just months after he ended his relationship with Selena.
