A single day saw the deaths of up to 56 people, including 38 people in Uttar Pradesh, and 18 in Rajasthan, while Sunday precipitation took place in many places in northern India.
In UP, 14 people were killed in Prayagrad, 5 people died in Kanpur Dehat, 3 people in Firozabad and Kaushambhi, and 2 people in Unnao and Chitrakoot.

In the districts of JAIPUR, Kota, Jhalawar and Dholpur in Rajasthan, 18 people have been killed in separate lightning incidents. Seven children were also affected.
21 people were also injured in lightning attacks in different villages of Rajasthan, including six children.
In a major tragedy in Jaipur on the hill near Amber Fort, 11 people, mainly young people, were killed and eight others wounded, according to officials.
