‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ to Re-Release in Theaters on May 12

The popular 2016 Bollywood biopic “MS Dhoni: The Untold Story,” directed by Neeraj Pandey, is set to exclusively re-release in Indian theaters on May 12. The movie, starring the late Sushant Singh Rajput as the legendary cricketer, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, was one of the biggest hits of the year and will be available in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages.

The re-release is meant to give cricket fans across the country another opportunity to experience the most magical moments of cricket on the big screen. The announcement was made via Twitter by Star Studios.

The biopic was one of Sushant’s biggest commercial successes, and he received numerous nominations for Best Actor at various award shows for his work in the movie. Dhoni, who was the captain of the Indian cricket team during Sushant’s lifetime, praised the actor, stating that Sushant asked him one question repeatedly to ensure he was being honest, and if he received a similar answer, he believed it.
The re-release of “MS Dhoni: The Untold Story” will provide cricket fans another opportunity to witness the inspiring journey of India’s most successful cricket captain. The re-release comes after the film’s lead actor, Sushant Singh Rajput, passed away on June 14, 2020.
